Problems with dating a tall woman

A long long time ago, when men and women were considered to have very specific male and female "duties" – to be a hunter-gatherer (men), and to look after the kids (women), you could say it was almost necessary for the men to be bigger so they were able to successfully carry out said duties.

She even said she wears high heels when going on a night-out with her friends, even if she towers above all of them.If trying to catch the attention of a man however, the same problem reared its ugly head – as she admitted that she would opt for less height in the shoe department in these situations.“Being tall can make you feel intimidating to men, and therefore less likely to be approached,” she mused.Even as a young adult at university, I gravitated towards clubs that unfortunately weren't popular with members of the opposite sex.In Ballroom and Latin dancing classes and competitions I often found myself wearing black trousers and flat shoes and leading another girl around the dance floor – robbed of the sparkle and glitter I’d craved since watching Strictly Come Dancing – I just wanted to wear a dress for heaven's sake – it didn’t even have to be a pretty one.
